The Golden Rule: How to Live It

  • The Interfaith Center 1616 South Spring Street Little Rock, AR, 72206 United States (map)

Co-sponsored by The Interfaith Center and Braver Angels Arkansas

Values found in the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," can be found in the teachings of many faiths, but sometimes living these values is easier said than done. In this workshop, David Childs and Glen White from Braver Angels Arkansas will discuss how extreme polarization can lead to breakdowns in communication and relationships and will share 13 ways to live out the Golden Rule. Participants will learn constructive communication and conflict resolution techniques that will help you maintain, and often deepen, valued relationships.

Braver Angels is a nonpartisan citizens' group that works to reduce political polarization, teach skills to communicate with civility, and work toward civic renewal.
